This shelf is sold under different names, but the instructions are the same. There is a 60" version as well, and the instructions are the same - though most 60" shelves don't have the middle support bar, but some do.

Assembly is basically tool-less, no screws or bolts, just a rubber/plastic mallet. Putting it together is pretty simple, even for one person. It will take around 15-30 minutes.

BOTTOM LINE: It's a nice storage shelf for the price. I do not think it will hold anywhere near 2000lbs though. It's not flimsy or wobbly, it's just not THAT heavy-duty. It is perfect for what most people need a shelf for - light to moderately heavy items that you want to organize.
