Giới thiệu
Track 9 from their fourth album "4" released in 1981 copyright Atlantic Records. It was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Mick Jones. The title also reflected the fact that original members and keyboardists Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood had left the band reducing its membership from six to four. This resulted in the band hiring session musicians to enhance the album's sound, most notably a young Thomas Dolby on synthesizers. Dolby helped develop the song idea that eventually became "Urgent." The album sold six million copies in the U.S. alone making it their second-most successful after "Double Vision." It received excellent reviews and reached No. 41 in Sweden, No. 20 in Japan, No. 19 in New Zealand, No. 12 in the Netherlands, No. 6 in France, No. 5 in the U.K., No. 4 in Germany, No. 3 in Australia, No. 2 in Canada and No. 1 in the U.S. It was certified Gold in Japan, France, Israel, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa and the U.K., Platinum in Australia and Germany, 4X Platinum in Canada and 6X Platinum in the U.S. Written by Mick Jones & Lou Gramm and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange & Mick Jones. It's night again
Time for my mind to go wandering
Off on a journey through space and time
In search of a face I can never find

So I close my eyes and look inside

I can't forget
The night that I saw her we never met
She felt so close to me as I reached for her hand
She drifted away like the desert sand

It was her and she was gone

I wish she'd come back tonight
Like a, a star shining bright
I don't know where she's from, she's like a

(A girl on the moon)
(A girl on the moon) she's like a
(A girl on the moon)
(A girl on the moon)

Yes, it's night once again
And that same old feeling is setting in
It all seems so familiar but I hope this time
That girl on the moon will soon be mine

All mine, tonight

Am I asking too much?
Should I leave my dream untouched?
Should I even know where she's from?

My (girl on the moon) she's my
(Girl on the moon)
(Girl on the moon)
My girl on the moon
(Girl on the moon)
(My girl on the moon)
(Girl on the moon)
(Girl on the moon)
(Girl on the moon)
(Fille sur la lune)
(Girl on the moon)
