This past week has been exhausting. Researching, learning, feeling emotions I’ve never felt before, signing, giving, calling, emailing, fighting a battle I didn’t know was this challenging. 
And this is how people of color feel everyday. 
So what’s next?

I’m learning & continue to learn. I don’t plan on stopping; this is a life-long battle I want to be part of, and today I wanted to share some things I will actively continue doing, if you too are wandering “WHAT NEXT?” .

1️⃣. Contacting my local police department, governor’s office & district attorney’s office. Every week I have on my calendar a reminder to call or email. The questions I ask each time are in the “🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿“-story highlight. More about this there. If we all do this; something that simple but do it consistently & don’t stop, we will be noticed. I keep sharing this point because I believe it’s a VERY POWERFUL thing everyday people like me can do toward actually improving the system. It starts with the LOCAL GOVERNMENT. .

2️⃣. Signing petitions (I personally sign what I consider non-violent, reasonable & fair) & found some good ones @colorofchange. .

3️⃣. Donating to victims, black organizations & more. There’s a good link on how to donate withOUT money too, in the “🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿“ story highlight. .

4️⃣. Text “JUSTICE” to 668366 - “FLOYD” to 55156. .

5️⃣. Support more black-owned businesses (list & ideas in the “🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿“ highlight). .
6️⃣. Read books to get more educated on the matter (resources in the same highlight). .
7️⃣. Listen to podcasts (same highlight). .
8️⃣. Watch movies & documentaries on the subject (same story highlight for inspo). .
9️⃣. Follow & actively engage with black artists & creators. Especially here on IG & YouTube, this is such an easy one. .
1️⃣0️⃣. And this is a very important one too- No longer be afraid or embarrassed to call out racist people or people making racist remarks. I’ve always been vocal, but moving forward I’ll be even more so. 
And don’t forget to vote if you ever want your opinion to matter. Don’t think about the electoral college, just DO your part.

To achieve anything in life you must make sacrifices but it’s just as important to know what you aren’t willing to sacrifice so you can be realistic in what you want to achieve
If you want a better body you need to make some sacrifices. They won’t be half as extreme as the above because “shredded off your tits” is not the look you should go for.
If you want a better brain you need to stop filling it full of crap!
Sacrifice time spent with bell ends and people that drag you down.
If you want a better business then you must sacrifice buckets of time and energy into beating on your craft, delivering value to others and investing in yourself to get better

3rd Session of the week smashed!
As you may know I picked up a few niggles last week so had to alter my training primarily to swimming Monday and Tuesday
4 Hours Pool Time smashed and decided to hit a 3 hour treadmill sprint session today
Gradient 15% - Speed 12.5kph - 15 seconds on - 45 sec off for 150 rounds and ended up finishing with a 30 minute box jump
Safe to say I have unlimited macros today 🤣💪
